For those of you who do not already know me, my name is Sara. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in December of 2009. For right now Sweet Ginger Confections is a hobby of mine, but one day I plan on opening up a Boutique Style Sweet Shop!
I have always loved to cook, bake, and create. In August of 2009, I started combining those three things. All of this started when I was throwing a baby shower for my sister and needed a cake. I had a million ideas in my head, but had no idea how I was going to be able to tell a bakery what I wanted. Instead of worrying about it not being done, "my way," I decided to do it myself. Ever since that day, I knew I had found my passion.
Making cakes and other confections is not just about combining the right ingredients and following a recipe. Designing and decorating is what makes each creation unique and special for your occasion. All I need is a theme and we can work together to make sure it is just the thing you have in mind.
Designing and decorating cakes and other confections is not all I have been up to. I have been hand crafting room decor. I find that cakes and room decor are similar in a way, all I need is a theme, and I will make my blank canvas, whether it is a cake or a wall, a beautiful master piece just for you!
